parenting: curfew for 20yro…when late is too late?
Would you have a problem with your 20 year old coming home at 3am as long as you didn’t hear her come in and she didn’t disturb the house?
Would you had a set time for a curfew or let your 20 year old come home whenever as long as he/she didn’t make ANY noise at all?
As long as she kept quiet, didnt come home drunk, or just plain disturb me while I slept I wouldnt care. Their 20yrs old, they dont need a curfew.. but if there still living under my house, there going by my rules.

No, I wouldn’t set a curfew – just so long as she didn’t wake everyone up, and even then it wouldn’t be a curfew, it’d just be a ‘keep the noise down’ type of thing. She’s an adult.

just tell them to keep quiet when they come in, or if they decide to stay out somewhere drop you a text to let you know.
i never had a curfew from the age of 17 when i started going to the pub.
so long as im quiet when i come in and dont throw up from my alcohol consumption, or if i do throw up do it in the toilet not the floor/bed, then they wont question me about it.

No I wouldn’t side with anyone. You know people thought he was nuts for wanting to do that, but after the Great Depression hit people didn’t consider him to be so nuts then.
One of the main causes of the great depression was the problems in wealth distribution. The top wealthy people were bringing in all the money and at the time of a booming economy the working class couldn’t afford anything. We had tons of productivity but not enough consumption. Especially with the auto industry — people didn’t make enough money to buy cars!
And when there is a lot of productive and no consumptions stocks crash.

No – but those of today see themselves differently, they believe they are part of wealth, because they produce a service and profit to themselves by it. They would not last a day back then when six dollars /hr was good money. they did not have their wives take in laundry or their fathers work three jobs to get money for the required three or more children in a apartment. No if they looked at those people then they would see sweat shops for Jorge and Ana look-a-likes in work ethic but not color.
To those today what you are talking about is as meaningless as a rumor. They don’t have servitude in any form like those in the forties had it. Many came out of it with businesses and told their children not their grand kids what it was like !

Even given Roosevelt’s "New Deal" that was NOT what brought America out of the Depression. His policies only extended the length of the Depression, the people who created the jobs were being taxed to death and they could not afford to create new jobs, the more they made the more the Government was taking. What brought us out of the Depression was a Declaration of War (World War II).
All those products we had sitting in warehouses, and the need for more and more created jobs in order to support the War Effort.
I do not agree with wealth redistribution, then or now.

So Now That Raszle (my pitbull) Killed Mickey Mouse ((for all of u that were not here for this raszle killed and brought me a mouse 2 days ago…)) I thought it was only one mouse but today Raszle has been acting prey crazy running in and out of the room where he cought the mouse. I thought perhaps he was just remembering the old mickey but when Raszle kept runnin in my room n cryin n runnin to the back room i followed n he was scratching at and crying by the fish tank as he was on one side i was ((standing on a chair of course lol lookin at the other side)) AND THERE SHE WAS!!! MINNI MOUSE!!! =\ … as you might be able to see by the profile picture we keep a clean house so i truly thought there was only one mouse and one of you worned me that there are prob more… and you were right!!!
What can i do to get rid of the mice? =( ((i set up sticky traps and the traps that the mice go in n cant get out of… but cought nothing for months! untill Raszle cought one two days ago! n now theres another

Have ALL of Sir Thomas Leggs recomendations been FULLY IMPLEMENTED, or have all the MPs been quiet hoping nobody would notice?
We will be having general election in a few months, Should Each and Every MP standing at the next election sign to agree work to both the wording & spirit of the findings before having their names put forward?

Yes Ive noticed how quiet they are on that. I suppose its up to the likes of us to just keep reminding people right up to the election. Funnily enough I have almost finished printing some fliers reminding the folks in my town of that….among other things. Perhaps if you do the same, and try to encourage others to use their printers too……My local pub is allowing me to leave them on the tables. and then there’s the thursday market. Spread the word my man. Lets try to get the dishonesty out of parliament. At the moment its a toilet. it no longer represents or even listens to the people of Britain. Time we cleared out the chaff don’t you think. Y’know what! Its only the people that can get the bastards out. If we dont all make the effort, then this country stays in the hands of cheap crooks.

Have you noticed that Mandelson and Brown have been working overtime in attempting to get the British electorates attention away from the ‘muddy waters’ of expenses on to focus other matters such as climate change and new voting rules.
I cannot but notice that it is the majority of Labour Members of Parliament who are attempting to ‘bluff’ it all out and plead all innocence.
I understand that a statement will be issued later today.
This information has been in the possession of MPs since last October.
Is it possible that certain amendments have been added to the report favourable to Members of Parliament?

Reading to days media it’s obvious that another smokescreen or whitewash is being manufactured by Brown ably assisted by Cameron. The enquiry cost some ?1.1 million which is more than the M.P.’s are being asked to pay back, the economics of the madhouse. People should note who complained loudest about the injustice of having to return money and vote accordingly.The track record of dishonesty is shared almost equally between Labour and Conservatives with the Liberals having the best record of honesty of all.
Don’t often agree with Crow but he is right this time.

But they have a task: One must kill the other by 6:00, or his wife and daughter will die. They find hacksaws in a toilet, and try to cut the chains, but it doesn’t work. They are the two newest victims of the Jigsaw Killer. In a flashback, we learn of Amanda, a girl who falls victim to the Jigsaw Killer. On her head is a mask, which is hooked into her lower jaw. There is a timer on it. Only one key will unlock it, and that key is in the digestive tract of her cell mate who lies paralyzed on the opposite side of the room. If she doesn’t unlock the mask in time, her lower jaw will be ripped wide open. She survives, but her cell mate doesn’t. Through a series of flashbacks, we learn of more victims, and of the nearly-successful capture of the Jigsaw Killer, who doesn’t actually kill his victims. Instead, he finds ways to make them kill either themselves, or each other, and he thinks the entire ‘game’ out perfectly, with no other ways out. Or so it would seem.

Did I over react to this?
So I talk to this guy over aim sometimes that I know from work, and it was always bye sweetheart and oh you’re so cute. I told him to cut the crap out since i’m seeing someone, and he stopped but I said something recently to him and he’s like "oh you’re so cute."
I basically flat out told him to that what he says is inappropriate and that if it was said in front of my boyfriend he’d get his face beaten in then blocked him.
