I see Victory for dems 2010 and of course Obama 2012 you?
Now the bill will go to the senate.Looks like Mitch McConnell knew the bill would pass the congress. He even knows its going to pass in the senste, thats why he threatened retaliation to his own party. When the healthcare bill passes the senate the dems have started their quest in taking GOP seats in 2010. After tonight im sure if not 2 at least 1 republican will come aboard to pass the healthcare bill through the senate.
If the gubernatorial elections were any indication I think the Republicans will take many seats in 2010 and unless Obama straightens things out he’ll be out in 2012.

Screw the government. I hope Washington is vaporized. Screw them all.

It won’t, There are many more Dems opposed to it then there are Republicans against it. Nice try though. And I think 2012 will be quit a shock to you because many people are becoming disenchanted and are beginning to see past Obama’s lies.

The Democrats will net lose a few seats in 2010, that’s the normal order of things.
In 2012, with 25 million unemployed, the full weight of their sins will come crashing down on the Democrats. The Republicans will retake the Senate and the White House.

I believe the dems have sealed their fate for 2010. Soon enough obama will not have the pull he had only a year ago because th public objects to the healthcare bill. He is a lame duck already.

Easily now. Obama will win again after accomplishing something that has been tried and failed for decades. This is huge what was accomplished; it’s pretty much a done deal now.
God bless America!

I hope to god your right.

I concur but don’t forget how the Conservatives will be instrumental in handing the Democrats over 1/2 of the Republican Seats!
James E Lewis AKA choteau | Nov 07, 2009
It is normal for the party controlling the White House to lose seats, but 2010 will be a little worse… The republicans will most likely win four or five senate seats (Indiana, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Missouri, and maybe Connecticut).
Moreover, in 2012 Obama will probably lose because most of his economic policies have not worked the way he stated they would and he is seen as too dovish on foreign policy

DC needs to be nuked. New York and California too. Oh, and Chicago.

Yes I do as well. Obama has passed a bill that we should have had for so long. I am very proud of our President. Yes obama for 2012

I totally agree. It is like a snowball rolling down the snowy hill now and we will all get a chance for quality affordable healthcare.
Thank God

The Democrats are going to lose seats in 2010, that always happens. But I think we’ll still retain majority rule in both houses.
Since the Republican party is in shambles right now, they won’t have a strong presidential candidate until 2016 (maybe). If the GOP keeps excluding moderates from their platform, that means more votes go to the dems. So I see Democrat victories in 2010, 2012, and possible 2016 (but thats many years from now)
And just to show how stupid the GOP is think about this: Rep. Hoffman who won the NY-23 election voted from the Healthcare bill. Had a republican won that seat (scozzafava) that the dems woulda had 219 votes and might’ve convinced some others to vote against the bill therefore defeating it. Way to go GOP, only you can shoot yourself in the foot and call it a victory.
